Okay, I wanna preface by stating that the info I have is from Sam, who was told by Steve, who was told by Bucky, so if it’s not entirely accurate, it’s because it’s been passed along in a game of Chinese whispers.
But basically, iirc, the other winter soldiers were some of HYDRA’s best assassins so they were already loyal to HYDRA. And when they got the serum, they became uncontrollable. Which is why they were taken to Siberia and put in cryo.
Obviously I have no idea if Zemo hates either of you but given he kinda hates the whole idea of superheroes and whatnot, probably yes? Except he seems to respect Sam and Bucky? So it’s not a personal, “he hates the individual” thing, just a hate for powered people and superheroes in general.
There’s a reason he wanted to destroy the Avengers, after all. Sam said his whole family was killed after Ultron destroyed Sokovia.
that is very sad but super powered people have also done a lot of GOOD in this world and I think is very unfair to judge all of them for a few mistakes and bad eggs some human beings who did NOT have super powers have done things that are much worse than what happened at sokovia, so it is not really the powers that are to blame
I cannot talk about what they stole but they sent me in to do some of the stealing so I think I know what I am talking about
Hey, man, you don't need to try and convince me. I agree with you. And I'm literally Captain America's partner so it would be hypocritical of me if I didn't agree with you. But I also didn't have my entire country lifted into the sky and then dropped. And I also didn't have to bury my entire family in the aftermath. So, while I don't agree with his methods or the murder of a bunch of people, including the king of Wakanda, I can kinda get why he'd hate super heroes.

yes yes preaching to the choir but I always thought zemo is very nice, chill man apart from the 'being in prison' thing. that does not matter, I have done some bad things and ended up in prison too I just do not like the thought that he does not like people like me
Why can't he be both? I mean, when you really think about it, he's a father and husband mourning his wife and son. I don't agree with his actions AT ALL! But grief and pain affects people in all kinds ways.
